Caipirinha & Cachaça

I've never heard of Caipirinha until today. Apparently it is a Brazilian drink with Cachaça (kind of a rum made from sugar cane) and lime. Sounds and looks delicious. More details on Wikipedia
I might get myself some Cachaça next time at BevMo. Has anyone had either Caipirinha or Cachaça? Any suggestions on Cachaça brands? I might just go for the Double Gold Medal Winner.
